Saved - The Reason

I always have cherished my family's old black and white photos, as a kid I was often asking my grandma to take out her box of old black and white pictures. I was used to spread them in front of me and everytime I would have asked my grandma or parents to tell me stories about those pictures and people. I loved to go through those faces, those still moments in time and going through our family history.
These days I feel like on a quest to save lost photos and lost forgotten stories of people I don't know but that I like to make part of my family via their lost photos. I am randomly searching for vintage photos in thrift shops and thrift fairs, even when I am outside US and my collection is getting bigger and bigger. I decided to open this spot on the internet to share my black and white photo collection with whoever might have the same interest in vintage eyes and stories.
The first picture I am uploading is one of the last findings but it's already one of my favorite ones. It's a perfect happy moment shot in San Marco square, Venice (Italy). I like the dress of the woman and her perfect make up and hairstyle.
ps: most of the photos I will be showing in this blog are from my collection and they are not for sale, however now or then I might upload some photos for sale. Just send me a note if you are interested in them.
